For over 20 years, the Realms community has maintained the maps you can find on this website to represent the fictional lands our characters hail from. While we can reference the location of towns and villages and argue over whose castle is more impressive, we have never been able to walk those lands, explore those castles, and truly experience our imagined Realms outside of going to events - until now.
In early 2012 a small group of Realms players began building the Realms Map in an inexpensive multiplayer game engine called "Minecraft".
The project's goal is to build our lands on the Realmscraft server as accurately as possible, using these maps and the imaginations of each nations' leaders as their guide. When the lands are built, or even before that loft goal is reached, Realmscraft will also be a place to come play your character when you can't make it to an event or a practice.
While it could never replace the Realms experience, it could someday be an amazing part of our community where stories are shared, friendships are made stronger and plots can run deeper than ever before.
